Über die Arbeiten

In der Konzeption Ihrer Malerei entwickelte Môna G.Ulner in den letzten Jahren eine abstrakt-gestische Bildsprache.
Ihre Themen, ihr Ausdrucksrepertoire sind das Scripturale, Chiffrenhafte,
bis hin zum Furor großer dynamischer Gesten und Zeichen, dem Duktus und gestischen Impuls folgend.
Ihrer künstlerischen Intention entsprechend, entstehen ihre Kunstwerke in einem jahrelangen Übungs- und Arbeitsprozess, um eine höchst mögliche immediate Präsenz und Verdichtung zu erreichen.
Ihre Werke weisen eine Nähe zur minimalistischen und informellen Stilrichtung auf.
In ihren Werkzyklen entstehen: Monochromatische Arbeiten, Farbenlasur-Malerei, Serien auf Papier mit Scripturen, Chiffren, subtilen Lineaturen, filigranen Linien-Strukturen, mit einer geradezu kontemplativen Anmutung. Sowie „Visuelle Poesie“.
Die von ihr angewandten Materialien sind, Acryl – auf Leinwänden verschiedener Formate. Auf Bütten- und Colombe-Papieren mit Aquarellfarben, Tusche, Acryl, Kreiden, Graphit.
Die spezifische Farbenauswahl für ihre neuesten Arbeiten sind: Indigoblau, weiß,
rot, schwarz in verschiedensten Kompositionen. Sowie weitere Farbenvariationen
z.B. auch auf Bildformaten wie Diptychen und Triptychen. Und Werkgruppen aus zuvor entstandener Malerei. Die Kunstwerke von Môna G. Ulner sind von außerordentlicher Farben- und Ausdruckskraft.

About the works

In the conception of her paintings Môna G. Ulner developed in the recent
years an abstract and gestural imagery.
Her themes, her expression repertoire are the scriptural, illustrative cipher
up to the furor of large dynamic gestures and characters following the ductus
and gestural impulse.
According to her artistic intention, her works of art evolve in a longstanding exercise and work process, to reach the highest possible immediate presence
and compaction.
Her works are close to the minimalist and informal style direction.
In her work cycles arise: monochromatic work, color glaze painting, series on
paper with scriptures, ciphers, subtle lineation, filigree line structures with an
almost contemplative appearance. And „Visual Poetry“.
The applied materials are acryl – on canvas in different formats. On laid and colombe papers with watercolors, ink, chalk and graphite.
The specific choice of colors for her latest work are: indigo, white, red and
black in different compositions.
And other variations of colors also on formats such as diptychs and triptychs
and further work groups from previously paintings.
